someday i’ll wake up and smell the air
just to realize it’s a another sunny day
the light is so bright
and the sky is just standing by
it’s a wonder how we all live
and i wonder how i’m gonna get by
you tell me sister i’m by your side
you tell me i’m here so open your eyes
but i’m hiding, not denying the truth and lies
you don’t see me you just hear me
and you don’t get how it’s like
it’s a wonder i’m still alive
it’s another sunny day
and i’m still breathing the same air
the same scent of disappointment
of regret and the similar case of blame
i open my eye of hope
to find you long gone
still in my head there lies a pond
of imprisoned tears
saved up from all these years
my heart can’t feel else
my mind can’t take less
you can figure this out
you’ve always been the happy one
well i guess i’m the better actress
i’m the drama queen they talk about
