It has taken me a while to comment because of how painful this truly wonderful short story was to read. Raising a daughter that is close in age to the heroine makes me even more aware of how similar we all are, and how the angst and hurt of young women is the same now matter if they live in India or New York City. I think readers everywhere will be able to relate to the predicament this girl finds herself in, and how it can seem so difficult to find a way out. As always, I applaud you and your efforts.
